Tickets for entry to the India International Trade Fair (IITF) are going to be available at metro stations from November 14 onwards.
“Entry tickets to IITF for business days are going to be available from November 14 and for general public from November 19,” officials of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said.
The business days for visiting the fair are November 14-18 and for the general public, visiting days are November 19-27. Tickets for the general public are going to be available at all metro stations.
However, tickets for business days will be available at only 32 metro stations.
These include, Rithala, Dilshad Garden, Jahangirpuri, HUDA City Centre, Noida City Centre, Anand Vihar, Central Secretariat, Inderlok, Kashmere Gate, Rajiv Chowk, Barakhamba Road, Saket, MG Road, Noida Sector 15, Vaishali, Laxmi Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Janakpuri West, Dwarka Mor, Dwarka Sector 9, Dwarka Sector 21, Mundka, Peeragarhi, Punjabi Bagh, Badarpur, Govindpuri, Lajpat Nagar, Mandi House, Janpath and Dhaula Kuan.
Keeping in view the heavy rush during the fair at Pragati Maidan Metro station, the DMRC has advised visitors to purchase the tickets from their originating station.
“The trade fair tickets would be available at all metro stations, except the Airport Express Line, where tickets will be available at only one station i.e, Dhaula Kuan station. The IITF tickets for both business and general days can be purchased from customer care centres at the stations from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m .on all days,” the DMRC said.
In order to facilitate the public using Delhi Metro while going back from the IITF, the Delhi Metro will be exclusively operating 21 token/smart card counters from within the premises of Pragati Maidan near its Gate number 10 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on all general days.
However, the tickets are day specific so no advance tickets will be available. “At Pragati Maidan Metro station, the fair tickets will be available only for Metro users. People coming from outside the Metro premises need to buy the tickets from Gate No.1 and 2 of the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO)
